About the team (Digital Innovation) 

Digital Innovation provides a unified digital and ICT capability across the Parkville health-service environment, delivering shared infrastructure, systems and innovation services that support safe, reliable and connected care. The Project Delivery and Transformation team leads complex digital initiatives and works closely with health-service leaders, operational teams, vendors and specialist partners to deliver sustainable technology-enabled change.

About the Rostering Project 

The Rostering Project is a major workforce transformation initiative modernising rostering, scheduling, leave management, temporary staffing and agency workforce management. The project is implementing the RLDatix rostering platform, including Optima, Loop and BankStaff, and spans business process change, technology and integration, system configuration, payroll assurance, testing, training, staged deployment, hypercare and transition to business-as-usual.

About the role 

As an Technical and Integration Lead you will lead the Technology Stream and is responsible for the architecture, environments, integrations, identity and access, security, and technical data movement required to deliver the RMH rostering solution. Working across business, system and technical teams, the role provides clear technical direction and ensures integrations, data, environments and support arrangements are secure, reliable, traceable and ready for implementation. 

A regular day will see you:

  • Lead technical architecture, integration, environment, access, security and data-migration activities across the rostering solution. 
  • Design and coordinate interfaces between RLDatix rostering system and enterprise platforms including Payroll (SAP), HRIS, EMR, Business Intelligence, Health Information System, automation system, biometrics and identity, and reporting systems. 
  • Govern migration cycles, data quality and reconciliation, technical testing, cutover and technical support readiness. 
  • Lead the Technology Stream and coordinate vendors, integration partners, platform owners and technical stakeholders to resolve risks and dependencies. 

About you 

You are an experienced technical delivery leader who can move comfortably between architecture, integration, data and operational delivery. You bring sound judgement, strong problem-solving skills and the confidence to lead vendors and multidisciplinary stakeholders through complex technical decisions. 

You'll bring with you: 

  • Demonstrated experience leading technical, integration and data-migration delivery for complex enterprise systems or digital transformation initiatives. 
  • Strong practical knowledge of APIs, web services, middleware, SQL, ETL, source-to-target mapping, reconciliation and enterprise integration patterns. 
  • Demonstrated experience planning and delivering data migration across multiple cycles, including cleansing, transformation, validation, defect resolution and cutover. 
  • Sound understanding of identity and access management, SSO/MFA, cybersecurity, privacy, environments, release controls and operational support. 
  • Strong vendor-management, technical documentation, facilitation, risk-management and stakeholder-engagement capability. 
  • Experience in health, rostering, payroll, HRIS, ERP, EMR or another complex public-sector technology environment will be highly regarded.
