About the role
As a Registered Midwife you will work within the multidisciplinary team to provide specialist antenatal care to both outpatients and short stay inpatients in the Pregnancy Day Care Centre. Women are sent to PDCC for Fetal monitoring, blood pressure assessment, IV rehydration and Induction of Labour, Iron Infusions and assessment of Fetal Growth Restriction. The candidate will also get an opportunity to work within the Maternal Fetal Medicine Clinics providing antenatal care to our complex patients.

About you:
To be considered for a Pregnancy Day Care Centre (PDCC) position you will need to demonstrate :
• Teamwork ethic
• Enhanced clinical skills in, cook's catheter insertion and IV cannulation
• Limited ultrasound or willingness to develop these skills
• Professional behaviours and development in line with the Nurses and Midwives (Victorian Public Health Sector) (Single Interest Employers) Enterprise Agreement 2024-2028, to ensure you are ready to actively take on further responsibilities in your career.
