About Business Intelligence & Data Analytics
The Business Intelligence & Data Analytics team supports the Women’s by delivering trusted data, reporting, and analytics that underpin clinical, operational, and strategic decision-making. The team manages performance reporting, data assurance, activity and and clinical costing, and works closely with clinical, management, executive and research teams to improve data quality, transparency, and data literacy across the organisation. Business Intelligence & Data Analytics also leads the delivery of the Women’s REDCap service, enabling secure collection and management of clinical, research, and operational data in partnership with Royal Melbourne Hospital.
About the role
As an REDCap Administrator you will be responsible for supporting the safe, consistent, and effective use of the REDCap platform across the Women’s. The role manages the day-to-day administration of REDCap, supports clinical, research, and operational users, and ensures projects comply with data governance, privacy, and security requirements. The role also supports the transition and ongoing management of existing REDCap projects and works closely with internal stakeholders and Royal Melbourne Hospital as part of the joint service arrangement.
A regular day will see you:
- Administering and configuring REDCap projects, including user access, roles, and permissions
- Supporting users to design, build, test, and deploy REDCap databases
- Managing governance, privacy, and data quality requirements for REDCap projects
- Coordinating issue resolution, documentation, and continuous improvement activities
About you
You are organised, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with data and digital systems. You enjoy supporting others, can explain technical concepts clearly, and work well with a diverse range of stakeholders in a regulated healthcare environment.
You’ll bring with you:
- Experience working with clinical, research, or operational data systems
- Strong attention to detail and an understanding of data governance and privacy principles
- Well-developed communication skills and the ability to support users with varying technical capabilit
- Experience working in a health, research, or large complex organisational environment
- Confidence working independently while contributing as part of a broader team
