  • $83,657 - $92,482 + salary packaging + super + 5 weeks annual leave + monthly ADO’s

About the team

Payroll Services, which is a part of the Finance & Corporate Services Department, is responsible for ensuring that all employees are paid accurately and in a timely manner, in full compliance with all relevant legislation and Awards.

About the role

As a Payroll Officer you will be responsible for ensuring that all pays are processed accurately to meet award requirements and time frames whilst providing exceptional customer service to all internal staff members.

A regular day will see you:

  • Ensure that all payroll data is prepared within strict timeframes, including new employee details, award increases, variations to contract or conditions and terminations
  • Processing of Salary Packaging, Workers Compensation & Government Parental leave
  • Maintain accuracy, professionalism and a high quality of service at all times
  • Ensure that all payroll queries are responded to in a timely and courteous manner

About you

You’ll bring with you:

  • Sound knowledge and understanding of Awards (preferably within the health industry)
  • Chris21 experience (preferred but not essential)
  • Rostering experience
  • Minimum of five years previous payroll experience (preferably within the health industry)
  • Proficient in the Microsoft Office environment, including word processing
  • Strong attention to detail
