About the team
The Reproductive Services Unit at the Royal Women’s Hospital is a comprehensive service provided for women requiring assistance, support or treatment for infertility and potential infertility. The Moyna Fox Fertility Research Centre, created in partnership with the Stafford Fox Medical Research Foundation, sits within the Reproductive Services Unit.
About the role
As an RN/RM Fertility Research Nurse you will be responsible for the facilitation, coordination and maintenance of nominated research projects at the Royal Women’s Hospital and in particular at partner sites (East Melbourne / Fitzroy locations) under the supervision of senior research staff and directors at the Moyna Fox Fertility Research Centre.
A regular day will see you:
- Assisting in patient recruitment and retention of study participants across mutiple recruitment sites.
- Delivering specialist nursing services, including but not limited to, client examination, venepuncture, collection of cervical / vaginal / serology specimens, and collection of surgical specimens in theatre.
- Assisting with accurate management of collection, storage, archival and retrieval of data.
About you
The successful application will have current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse or Midwife, with at least 2 years relevant experience in clinical research and support.
