  • Part-time (0.78 FTE per week), fixed term role, until July 2027
  • Parkville location, with multiple public transport options available  
  • $62,566 - $82,565 (part-time for pro-rata) + salary packaging + super + 5 weeks annual leave

About the unit

The Operating Suite provides surgical services 24 hours per day, seven days a week and consists of 7 operating theatres including one dedicated emergency theatre and, a day procedure theatre. Surgical specialties include obstetrics, gynaecology, urogynaecology, breast, IVF and oncology. 

About the role

As an Scrub Scout Enrolled Nurse in Operating Theatres you will provide comprehensive care, planning, and evaluation of the your assigned patients.

A regular day will see you:

  • Work across areas of Theatre Nursing: Scrub, Scout 
  • Be professionally accountable for the standard of nursing care provided as set out by ACORN standards
  • Be aware of and work in accordance with Hospital policies and procedures

About you

You’ll bring with you:

  • AHPRA registration as an Enrolled Nurse 
  • Experience working within the operating suite
  • Enrolled Nurse with Medication endorsement/IV 
  • Experience in Scrub/scout
  • Ability to work a rotating roster including weekends and night shifts
