About Clinical Support Nurse
The Clinical Education Program supports the Women’s to achieve its strategic directions by providing frameworks for the professional development of health professionals. The Program supports the future nursing and midwifery workforce through supporting pre-registration, graduate, postgraduate and staff working in the Neonatal unit.
About the role
The Clinical Support Nurse – NICU is a clinical based role that supports the learning needs of the Neonatal unit.
- Support Graduate/post graduate learners in the Neonatal space
- Work collaboratively to provide optimal NICU staff skills in alignment with The Women’s and service strategic plans.
- Assist to facilitate NeoResus and ABLS competency in the NICU

About you
You will be someone with strong communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to build collaborative working relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders.
You’ll bring with you:
- AHPRA registration as a Nurse with post graduate NICU qualifications with current and extensive experience in NICU in a tertiary centre.
- Willingness to acquire knowledge and skills that responds to changing operational requirements and enhances ability to perform in the Clinical Support Nurse role.
- Demonstrated ability to thrive in environments of constant change and inspire others
