About the team

Our department provides comprehensive nutrition services to hospital inpatients and outpatients, professional colleagues, and the broader community. Our dietitians have specialist knowledge of nutrition throughout all stages of the life cycle and provide expert care on a range of issues including fertility and pregnancy, neonatal nutrition, weight and eating concerns, diabetes, oncology, pelvic floor and older women’s health.

About the roles

There are two casual Dietetics positions available. The position is primarily responsible for contributing dietetic advice and medical nutrition therapy within our women’s outpatient service and inpatient service, when required.

As part of your role you may be required to:

  • Provide comprehensive nutritional care for women including assessment, planning and implementation, monitoring and follow-up
  • Attend team meetings for case discussion and advocating for the nutritional care of your patients.

About you

You will be someone with excellent communication and interpersonal skills who enjoys working as part of a supportive, collaborative team committed to excellence in patient care.

You’ll bring with you:

A Bachelor of Nutrition and Dietetics or equivalent tertiary qualification

Evidence of Accredited Practising Dietitian (APD) status with Dietitians Australia

A minimum of two years’ clinical experience in a health care setting

Demonstrated knowledge and experience in women’s health, including persistent pelvic pain, antenatal nutrition and disordered eating

A flexible approach to your work with a willingness to go the extra mile when necessary.
