Position Description - Data Ana…

About the role

The Analytics Business Partner is the key connection between BI&A and allocated clinical and corporate areas. You’ll work with leaders and operational teams to understand their priorities, define the questions that data needs to answer, and turn complex information into clear insights and practical recommendations that support better decision-making.

A regular day will see you:

  • Partner with clinical and corporate leaders to understand their priorities, challenges and analytical needs.
  • Analyse patient, activity, workforce, financial and operational data to identify trends, risks and opportunities.
  • Turn complex analysis into clear insights, visualisations and practical recommendations for decision-makers.
  • Work with analysts, Power BI developers and data engineers to translate business needs into effective reporting and analytical solutions. Position Description - Data Ana…

About you

You’re an analytical and curious problem-solver who enjoys working with people as much as working with data. You can ask the right questions, challenge assumptions constructively and communicate complex information clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.

You’ll bring with you:

  • Demonstrated experience in analytics, business partnering, consulting or an advisory role, ideally in healthcare or another complex service environment.
  • Strong analytical and structured problem-solving skills, with the ability to turn complex data into meaningful insights and recommendations.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills and the ability to build trusted relationships with senior leaders, clinicians and operational teams.
  • Experience with forecasting, trend analysis, scenario modelling or other forward-looking analytical techniques.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and visualisation tools, including Power BI, SQL and advanced Excel.
  • Strong communication and data storytelling skills, including presenting complex findings clearly to non-technical audiences
