2026 Women's Imaging Fellowship

 

  • Full time or Part time, Fixed Term for 12 months from February 2026
  • Parkville location with multiple public transport options
  • $129,048 - $177,622 (pro-rata for part time) + salary packaging + super + 5 weeks annual leave

About the Team 

The Women’s provides a high level service in obstetrics, gynaecology, cancer treatment and specialist care of neonates. It is a major teaching centre and leader in research.

The Imaging Centre provides a wide range of imaging services including XR DEXA, fluoroscopy, mammography / tomosynthesis /contrast mammography, ultrasound and MRI (Siemens Vida 3T). We perform a wide variety of US guided, stereotactic guided and MRI guided biopsies and interventions.

 

About the role

Fellows in Radiology are responsible for the provision of excellent, subspecialty, clinical care to women (outpatients or inpatients), foetuses and infants. The role is part of a multidisciplinary team providing individualised, family-centred approaches to diagnostic and therapeutic interventions using radiological and ultrasound modalities.

The Fellow will have the opportunity to attend multi-disciplinary meetings and be actively involved in research. Participation in pre-existing or new research projects for presentation or publication is strongly encouraged.

 

About you

You will bring with you:

  • MB BS or equivalent qualification.
  •  Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).

FRANZCR Part 2 or equivalent.

The Classification and Salary scale will be dependent on experience and you will be appointed and in accordance to the Australian Medical Association (Victoria) Doctors in Training Agreement 2022-2026.
